Rayita the tiger was seen grabbing vet Alejandra Mora from behind, grabbing her jacket and pulling her into a wire fence that was separating them. As the terrifying moment unfolded, Rayita appeared to try and sink her sharp teeth into Alejandra’s neck area, but a colleague was able to remove the beast’s claws from the vet’s jacket before any damage was caused
The startling footage was captured at the amino Real del Tigre zoo in Mazamitla, located west of Mexico City, Mexico.
One of our visitors tried to intervene, but we asked him not to because he was holding me a little too tightly… But fortunately, nothing went wrong.”
She added: “Our trained staff intervened, removed our tiger Rayita’s paws, and we are both doing well. I am very grateful for your continued support.”
